When Georgia Fullerton was invited to create for The Art of Appleton Estate 2025 campaign with The Toronto Globe and Mail, she leaned into her roots, her craft, and her story.

Guided by her intuitive abstract expressionist style, Georgia worked with watercolor and acrylic ink—allowing fluid movement and crystallized forms to speak to balance: spontaneity and structure, tradition and transformation.

Inspired by the groundbreaking legacy of Joy Spence, Appleton Estate’s master blender and the first woman in her role, Georgia found her own story reflected—Jamaican-born, a woman in her field, blending heritage and evolution through art.

The journey culminated in 'Out of The Blue'—a painting that not only embodies the campaign, but also marks Georgia’s  ongoing path of healing, culture, and creativity.
